Paris - La Défense : Urban escape

It's wierd how, early in the morning, everybody's going to the same direction .. In this picture taken from La Défense (Business center of Paris), people are both trying to get into Paris (represented by the Arc De Triomphe in the middle of the image) and are stuck in traffic jams (red lights on the right), or trying to go to La Défense and are stuck in traffic jams (white lights on the left)...
In the middle ? The Metro :)

35mm

I just got (at Christmas) a new lense .. Nikon 35mm f1.8
This is just great, and it allows some nice effect when opened at 1.8 as you can see in the below image.
